EFT

Emotional Freedom Technique  was developed by Gary Craig,  a Stanford trained engineer turned “personal trainer” and it has evolved from a combination of ancient Chinese Acupressure and modern psychology.

Gary Craig states that:-

“The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.”

EFT has been likened to an emotional version of acupuncture. Practitioners and their clients use a sequence of tapping with the fingers on certain meridians, which stimulates them. At the same time, the client identifies the issue, led by the practitioner,  and simultaneously talks and taps through them.

This can lead to positive alterations in the body’s energy patterns and  perceptions . EFT appears to rebalance disturbances in the body’s energy system, resulting in freedom from emotional and physical symptoms.

I have used EFT to dissipate a variety of personal issues as well as with clients – for example, pain during a flare up in my joints, which disappeared remarkably quickly, or unblocking the way forward in a task such as tackling a pile of paperwork, which is a pet hate of mine!

Practitioners have reported that EFT has helped with issues such as:-

  • fears and phobias
  • pain management
  • grief and loss
  • self image
  • depression and sadness
  • remove emotional blocks to success
  • implementing positive goals
  • weight loss
  • lack of self-esteem or confidence
  • relationship issues

Gary Craig maintains that EFT works in issues where other treatments have failed. I certainly find it works remarkably quickly, and clients are delighted with the positive results which are achieved. During the session, you will learn how to implement the tapping sequence to address issues for yourself.
